HFMD and related data including the number of cases, humidity, air temperature, precipitation, Gross domestic product (GDP) and population density (POP). Monthly scale age groupings from national HFMD incidence. These data are from the Public Health Science Data Center, the National Meteorological Science Data Center, and the Statistical Yearbook，respectively. By using the average interpolation accuracies from IDW, Kriging, and thin plate smoothing splines to estimate each city’s climate factors.  Based on ArcGIS10.2, visualized expression of HFMD, population density and per capita GDP of each city was carried out. This dataset is a is a publicly published comprehensive data set on HFMD and its potential influencing factors at the city scale in China。These data not only are the basis for further understanding the spatial distribution of HFMD in China from the perspective of city level, but also provide references for further studies on HFMD and environmental factors (social and natural, etc.).
